“A Critical Look at the Teachings of John and Paula Sandford” by Jan and Charlie Fletcher

 

In this paper Jan and Charlie Fletcher evaluate John and Paula Sandfords’ teachings on inner healing and sanctification. They demonstrate that much of Dr. Ed smith’s Theophostic Prayer Ministry is based on the Sandfords’ teachings on inner healing and also on the teachings of the Sandfords’ mentor, Agnes Sanford. In their introduction, the Fletcher’s say: “We will focus this critique on the Sandfords’ beliefs regarding Christian sanctification, as we believe this is the source for all the problematic inner-healing teachings that ensue.”
